These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of www.stein-studio.com, including its content, features, and related social media accounts (collectively, the “Site”). The Site is owned and operated by Stein Studio LLC, doing business as Stein Studio (“Stein Studio,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
WEBSITE PURPOSE
The Site provides general information about Stein Studio, our design philosophy, portfolio, services, and completed projects. Its content is provided for informational and promotional purposes only.
Your use of the Site, submission of an inquiry, or communication with Stein Studio does not create a designer-client, professional, contractual, or fiduciary relationship. A client relationship is established only through a separate written agreement signed by Stein Studio and the client.
Design Services
All interior design, design integration, procurement, construction coordination, consulting, and related professional services are governed by a separate written agreement.
If these Terms conflict with a signed client agreement, the client agreement will control with respect to the services covered by that signed agreement.
Information presented on the Site does not constitute architectural, engineering, construction, legal, financial, or other professional advice. Project scope, pricing, schedules, availability, and deliverables are determined individually and may change without notice.
Portfolio and Project Information
Our portfolio is intended to illustrate the character and quality of Stein Studio’s work. Every project is shaped by its location, architecture, budget, client, construction team, materials, and site conditions. Past work does not guarantee that the same design, result, cost, or timeline can be reproduced for another project.
Project descriptions may be abbreviated for clarity. Certain furnishings, artwork, architecture, photography, styling, or construction work shown on the Site may have been created or provided by clients, architects, builders, craftspeople, vendors, photographers, or other collaborators.
Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the Site and its original content—including text, graphics, layouts, logos, branding, drawings, designs, presentations, and other materials—are owned by or licensed to Stein Studio and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Photography and other materials credited to third parties remain the property of their respective owners.
You may view the Site for personal, noncommercial purposes. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, modify, distribute, sell, license, display, create derivative works from, or commercially use Site content without prior written permission from Stein Studio and, when applicable, the relevant copyright owner.
The Stein Studio name, logo, and related branding may not be used without our prior written consent.
Permitted Use
You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes. You may not:
Interfere with the operation or security of the Site;
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site or its systems;
Introduce malicious code, viruses, or other harmful material;
Scrape, harvest, or systematically collect Site content or data;
Misrepresent your identity or relationship with Stein Studio;
Use Site content in a misleading, defamatory, infringing, or unlawful manner; or
Suggest that Stein Studio endorses a person, product, or service without written authorization.
We may restrict or terminate access to the Site if we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated.
Inquiries and Submitted Information
When you submit an inquiry or other information through the Site, you represent that the information is accurate and that you have the right to provide it.
Please do not submit confidential, proprietary, or sensitive information through a general website form. Submitting project information does not obligate Stein Studio to accept an engagement, reserve availability, provide services, or respond within a particular period.
We will handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Third-Party Links and Services
The Site may contain links to websites, publications, vendors, social media platforms, or services operated by third parties. These links are provided for convenience and do not necessarily constitute an endorsement.
Stein Studio does not control and is not responsible for third-party websites, content, products, privacy practices, availability, or security. Your use of third-party services is subject to the terms and policies of those third parties.
References to vendors, makers, materials, or products do not guarantee their continued availability, pricing, quality, suitability, or performance.
Disclaimer
The Site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Stein Studio disclaims all express and implied warranties relating to the Site, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, reliability, availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We make reasonable efforts to maintain accurate information, but we do not guarantee that Site content will always be complete, current, error-free, or available without interruption. Images may display differently depending on lighting, photography, editing, and screen settings. Actual colors, finishes, textures, dimensions, and materials may vary.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Stein Studio and its owners, employees, contractors, representatives, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to your access to, use of, or inability to use the Site.
This includes damages arising from errors, interruptions, security issues, data loss, third-party links, or reliance on Site content.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Indemnification
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Stein Studio and its owners, employees, contractors, and representatives from claims, liabilities, losses, damages, and reasonable expenses arising from your unlawful use of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of another person’s rights.
Changes to the Site or These Terms
We may update the Site and these Terms periodically. Changes become effective when posted, and the “Last updated” date will reflect the most recent revision.
Your continued use of the Site after revised Terms are posted constitutes acceptance of those changes.
Governing Law and Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Unless applicable law requires otherwise, any dispute relating to these Terms or the Site will be brought exclusively in the state courts located in Davidson County, Tennessee, or the federal courts serving Davidson County. You consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary. The remaining provisions will remain in effect.
No Waiver
Our failure to enforce a provision of these Terms does not waive our right to enforce it later.
Entire Agreement
These Terms and the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and Stein Studio concerning your use of the Site. They do not replace or modify a separately signed agreement for design or other professional services.
