Trivela Group Office

Set within Birmingham’s historic Mountain Brook Village, The Arlington Building has long been a fixture of English Tudor charm: all gabled rooflines and graceful arches. When Trivela Group, a boutique private equity firm with deep English roots, moved in, our task was to translate that legacy into a modern workspace that still felt like home. The vision was less “office” and more “gentleman’s study”... a place where one could imagine Sinatra on vinyl and the soft crackle of a limestone hearth nearby. Every element, from the tailored millwork to the layered textures, was designed to echo both the building’s architectural heritage and the firm’s values of tradition, sophistication, and quiet confidence. The result is a space that bridges worlds— part boardroom, part heritage home— refined, grounded, and unmistakably Trivela.

A limestone fireplace is cracking and an immediate warmth like a long lost friend’s hug embraces you. Frank Sinatra is slowly humming in the background and the firm’s ethos is presented before a word is spoken…
