This upper-level bath was designed as a quiet nod to the home’s heritage — a study in timeless materiality and subtle proportion. We preserved its original charm through a black-and-white marble floor, lightly veined Calacatta surfaces, and classic nickel fixtures that catch the light just so. By removing the tub, we expanded the footprint to create a more functional shower, anchored by an exposed system that channels the elegance of a traditional English bath. Tucked beneath the home’s rooflines, the room embraces its architectural quirks, allowing every angle and finish to feel intentional — a thoughtful blend of old-world character and enduring refinement.
